Terms of service

1. Your cleanings

• We clean and sanitize your bins on your trash day after the truck empties them (or the day after, in areas where we’ve said so), on the schedule of the plan you choose.
• Leave your bins at the curb, or wherever we’ve agreed, until we’ve cleaned them. Add your gate code and anything our technicians should know in your account.
• Cleaning dates can move for holidays, your trash hauler’s schedule, weather or safety. We’ll tell you by text or email when a cleaning moves.
• If your bins aren’t out or we can’t reach them, that cleaning is marked missed and we’ll clean them at your next scheduled cleaning.
• Our technicians may take photos of your bins before and after cleaning, for quality and our records. You can see them in your account.
• We aren’t responsible for the condition of your bins, existing damage or normal wear. If something isn’t right after a cleaning, tell us and we’ll work with you to make it right.

2. Prices and payment

• Prices are per cleaning, as shown when you book, plus sales tax where it applies. Extra bins, extra cleanings and other services are priced separately.
• When you book a plan, you authorize Zafra Trash Bin Cleaning to charge your card on file for each cleaning at your plan’s price until you cancel. Your card is charged 2 days before each cleaning. Your first cleaning is charged when you book.
• Prepaid bundles are charged once, when you buy them, and cover the number of cleanings shown.
• If a charge fails, we’ll try again over the following days and send you a link to update your card.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Zafra Trash Bin Cleaning never sees or stores your full card number.
• We may change our prices. If your plan’s price changes, we’ll email you before the new price applies.

3. Skipping, pausing and cancelling

• You can skip or move a cleaning, pause for up to 90 days, change your bins or plan, or cancel at any time in your account, or by contacting us.
• There’s no fee to cancel.
• Cancelling stops future cleanings and charges.

4. Gift cards, credit and discounts

• Gift cards and account credit can be used for Zafra Trash Bin Cleaning’s services. They can’t be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires.
• Coupons and referral discounts follow the terms shown with them. Only one discount applies to a cleaning: the largest.
• When a friend you referred books and pays, you get $10 in account credit. We may change referral rewards for future referrals.
• Tips are optional and go to the technician who cleaned your bins.

5. Text messages

• Text messages from Zafra Trash Bin Cleaning: if you tick the box for texts when you book, or turn texts on in your account, we text you about your service: a reminder the day before a cleaning, notices when we’re on the way or done, payment and billing notices, and account messages. We don’t text offers; they come by email, only if you ask for them.
• Message frequency varies with your plan, usually 3 or 4 texts per cleaning. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, START to start them again, or HELP for help, or call (310) 462-6792, or email zafracleaning@gmail.com.
• Agreeing to texts isn’t a condition of buying anything.
• Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. We never share your mobile number or your agreement to get texts with anyone for their marketing.

6. Your account

Keep your contact and home details up to date so we can reach you and your bins. You’re responsible for activity in your account.

7. Our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zafra Trash Bin Cleaning’s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the cleaning or service involved, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its date. If you keep your plan after a change, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
