1. What we collect

Contact details: your name, email, mobile number, and business name if you book for a business, plus any extra contacts you add.
Your home: your service address and its location on a map, your gate code and notes for our technicians, your trash days and your bins.
Your service: your plan, your cleanings and how each of your bins turned out, photos our technicians take, and your skips, pauses and requests.
Payments: Stripe processes your card. We see the card type, its last four digits and its expiry date, along with your payment history.
Messages: the texts and emails we send you, your replies, and your text and email preferences.
How you found us: your answer to “How did you hear about us?” and the ad or link that brought you to our sign-up page, such as campaign tags and ad click IDs.
Referrals: who referred you, and anyone you refer.
Technical details: cookies that keep you signed in and remember a booking in progress, and your IP address, which we use for security.

2. How we use it

To schedule and route your cleanings and get our technicians to your bins.
To charge for our services and keep your account up to date.
To send reminders, on-the-way and done notices, receipts and account messages.
To answer your questions and requests.
To send offers, only if you agreed to receive them.
To understand how people find us and improve our service.
To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

Clean Bin System, the software company that runs our sign-up page and customer accounts, and the providers it uses to deliver them: hosting and database providers, Stripe for payments, Twilio for text messages, an email delivery service, and Google Maps for address lookups.
Our team, who need your address, gate code and notes to clean your bins.
Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
A new owner if our business is sold, who must keep protecting your information as this policy describes.

We don’t sell your personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Your choices

Update your details and your text and email preferences in your account at any time.
Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, and use the unsubscribe link in our offer emails to stop them.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it. We may keep records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while you’re a customer, and afterward as long as we need it for our records, taxes and any disputes.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and your card details are held by Stripe, not by us. No system is perfectly secure.

7. Children

Our services aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here with its date.
